The excitement of creative organization to make daily life easier is what motivates Brittany to design functional spaces for each of her clients’ homes. With a background in architectural drafting and over 15 years in the local residential construction industry, Brittany brings a deep understanding of space, structure, and design to every project. She joined Scherer Bros Lumber Company in 2019 then transitioned into closet design in 2021 and now leads our training program for new designers as well. Brittany grew up in the Twin Cities with her father and grandfather as skilled cabinetmakers, instilling in her a lifelong appreciation for high-quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.

Barb oversees Installed Services for Scherer Bros. Her background includes over 25 years in the construction field for both cabinetry and exterior window & door projects, as well as post-graduate work in Organization Development & Strategy Execution. Additionally, she holds certifications in Sales & Marketing Management, Business Relationship Management, Facilitation, Business Processes, Advanced CRM and Change Management. She currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Customer Experience Program at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
After your design is finalized, our skilled artisans will manufacture your project right here in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota—using the high-quality materials Scherer Bros. is known for. The fact that we’re local also means that if you decide you want to add an extra shelf in your closet, you can call your designer and pick up the new component much more quickly than if it had to be shipped from overseas.
Installation is included with all our storage solutions. Our dedicated installers are the best in the business and work on high-end homes throughout the Twin Cities. If you’ve built a home before, you know that the closets are the last thing to go in—after the painting, trim work, and carpeting is complete. Our installers work with diligent care not to damage all this freshly completed work. They will install your storage solution to perfection, and then clean up when the job is done.
